• 9/23/07: Back on the West Coast

After we wrapped up tracking in Chicago, we met back up with Brendon Collins for some shows in the midwest. Unfortunately we neglected to take many pics on the trip, but it was definitly a solid week of gigs, and there's a few shots up on the ol' visual page.

Thanks to eveyone who came to our shows in Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. We had a lot of fun, and we're looking forward to the next time we're in your area of the country.

• 8/30/07: IV Lab & CRC

For the past week we've been back at the IV Lab in Chicago, finishing up our first album with the help of Mr. Manny Sanchez. We're about to wrap up tracking, and all 11 songs are finally starting to sound complete. This morning we took a trip to Chicago Recording Studios to track some grand piano for a couple songs. You can check out pics from our second studio session here.

• 8/23/07: Chicago, Here We Come...

It's hard to believe it's been 6 months since we left Chicago... Back in February we spent 3 weeks recording most of the instruments on our debut album. Now we finally get to pack up the van and head back to the midwest, where we'll finish tracking and then play a few shows. Hope to see everyone in the Chicago area at Wise Fools tomorrow night!

• 7/26/07: Showcase Selection & Foreigner!

The past 2 days have been crazy good:
Yesterday we were notified that out of 372 appicants on the West Coast, we were one of the acts selected to showcase at the NACA West Region Conference. It's a 4-day event up in Spokane, WA, and we'll get to play a 15-minute set for a lot of programming associates and booking agents. Wish us luck!

That was really exciting news by itself. Then today we found out that we will be performing at the Lithia Motors Ampitheatre in Central Point, OR, opening for Foreigner infront of 5,000 people. Whoa, we should go practice...

• 7/7/07: End-of-summer gig & contest for Street Team

With our last all-ages show of the summer happening at the Hawthorne Theatre on August 17th, we're excited to have an awesome show before hitting the road on our Fall Tour, and so we're hard at work to get a buzz going about the event. We came up with a fun contest for our friends on the street team, so we can really get the word out there in the next couple months, helping us make the show at the Hawthorne Theatre a really memorable time. As you probably know, we're working on our debut album, and the contest prize has a lot to do with that... so check out the Street Team's official myspace page for details.

Thanks again to our amazing street team for their continued support!

• 6/18/07: New WebStore

Check out our new webstore. We're working with PayPal now, but you don't need a PayPal account to check out. So we have some new buttons, and stickers should be coming in the next month or so. Thanks for all of your support - buying merch helps us keep touring, recording and writing new songs... speaking of which, we've officially begun tracking vocals on our debut album, which is pretty exciting!

• 5/25/07: First Fall Tour Dates Announced

Our Fall Tour is officially on the schedule. The first 6 shows have been booked; at Drake University in Iowa, in Chicago at Wise Fools Pub, at the College of Wooster in Ohio, and back in California at Fresno State, SJSU and Monterey Live. We will be recording in Chicago for 10 days after the Wise Fools Show, and then traveling around the midwest before coming back out to Southern California and up the coast. Check back soon as we connect the dots and add more shows.

• 5/14/07: Back Home

Just got back to Portland, and we're getting ready for an awesome homecoming show at the Hawthorne Theatre next Thursday. While the tour seems like it flew by really fast, now it's really sunk in that that's because of how much help we had to make it such a fun trip, and a successful first tour. Thanks to everyone who booked us for a show, helped with sound, came to listen, bought a t-shirt, signed our e-mail list, gave us a place to stay, and most of all to those who fed us - we ate much better on the road than we do here at home (where the cuisine consists of ramen noodles, hot dogs and canned tuna).

Now it's time to start booking the next tour - we're headed to the midwest to finish recording our album, and then we'll play some shows out there before working our way back to California and up the coast. Can't wait to get back in the van!

We've also got some local and regional shows coming up this summer, so check the gigs page and stay in touch...

• 3/22/07: Back in Portland

We recently returned from our recording trip to Chicago. Although we didn't finish the album, we're really excited with how the session went - we're definitely happy with the 12 songs we picked to record, and Manny has everything sounding amazing. The basic instrumental tracks are about done, and we'll travel back to Chicago at the end of the summer to finish the album. Thanks for your patience, we promise it'll be worth the wait!

We're excited to announce 14 dates on our spring tour to California. We'll be adding more soon, so stay tuned and hopefully we'll be playing a venue near you soon!

• 2/8/07: Debut album, via Chicago...

Just wanted to remind our friends in the Chicago area that we'll be at Wise Fools Pub on Friday, 2/23. We go on at 10, and the place will fill up fast, so get there early... And to say thanks for being such good friends, if you print the fliers from the Gigs page you'll get in for $5 instead of $8. See you there!

• 12/1/06: Join the Street Team

As we continue to grow as a band, record our first album, and tour more regularly, we'd like to invite our first friends and fans (you) to help us and join us on the ride. We're starting up the Delaney Street Team, which you can read about here. Thanks for your continued support, and we'll definitely make it at least as fun of a team as your 5th grade kickball squad was.

• 11/30/06: Fat Amp Music Review

Thanks to Fat Amp Music for selecting us as a featured band in their unsigned section. This is a great website if you want to read reviews on concerts, recordings and the happenings of cool bands, both signed and unsigned, from internationally known to regionally touring. Please show some love to this organization; we're very grateful for their support. Check out the page, add 'em on MySpace, ya know, the whole kit and kaboodle, so to speak.

• 11/23/06: Happy Thanksgiving!

Due to a miscommunication with their management, we have cancelled our December 2nd show at the Gravity Room. We wish them the best in their "Metal Marathon."

No worries, though - if you're in the Portland area, catch our last show of the year at Rock N' Roll Pizza. We're playing with a couple great bands from Southern California, and we've got a few new songs to play for you - hope to see you there!
Tickets are $10, order them online and get a free CD.
